
My name is Ingrid Ockert, although I also use ‘Ingrid Rocket’ upon occasion.
Born in Portland, Oregon, I grew up in bookstores, forests, and breweries. In 2018, I graduated with a doctoral degree from the History of Science Program at Princeton University. Additionally, I was the 2018-2019 NASA/HSS History Fellow .
Currently, I am the Marketing Communications Coordinator for the Workforce Development and Education Office at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. I advise the American Archive of Public Broadcasting. I also serve as the Online Content Manager for the Radio Preservation Task Force.
I am a proud member of the National Association of Science Writers.
